Be patient with him. While he may struggle with his words, he will show you through his actions.

Don’t be greedy for his time and attention. Let him feel that you won’t consume his space. As your lover…he doesn’t need to always prove himself to you. Just believe in him.

Be there for him. Every time. When he needs someone to listen to his fears even if it’s 4 in the morning, stay with him. Be the one that knows all of his stories and secrets. Don’t leave him until he falls asleep. Know that even the strongest of beings have nightmares, and recall the moments when he fought your fears. It’s really okay… to be his knight in shining armor, everyone needs saving from time to time.

Listen to him when he talks about his friends, hobbies, and games. Just be there for him and don’t interrupt him, even if… he is only using them as an excuse to cover up what is truly on his mind. Look at him through his eyes. Feel his pain. Feel his presence. Understand the fact…that he just doesn’t want to worry you. He’s badly hurt. So don’t comfort him with promises. Unless you really mean them.

When he says everything’s going to be alright, he means it, but he still doubts. So..encourage him. Tell him that you will stand by his side no matter what, and will give him all the support he needs. Tell him…that this doesn’t make him weak.

Be the light that will guide him and bring him back to his path…but remember to never change him.

Accept his weird taste. Accept the fact that you two will not agree on everything and that’s okay.

Focus on his details. His actions tell the truth. If he texts you, “I’m okay. Don’t worry,” Don’t believe him…go to him and wrap your arms around him. Give him….your love and warmth, wait quietly for him until he feels ready to tell you.

Remember that some things are better left unsaid. If he doesn’t like talking about his past, respect him.  Understand that everyone has something that they don’t want to remember. The past…doesn’t matter, so focus on the present and future together.

If he tells you that he loves the way you treat him, appreciates it, because it’s real and write a note so you can do it again for him. Treat him like a king…he deserves it.

Adore him from his flaws to his strength. 

He will always be your hero, but…while he is your shield, it’s okay for you to be his sword.

Don’t lose the chance but don’t take advantage of him. 

Loving him will always be your best mistake. So get ready for the consequences you will experience throughout the journey with him. As a human being…of course, he isn’t perfect, and at times his words may sound harsh. Then remember… all those moments when he had to deal with your stubbornness…your mistakes and flaws.

Finally, able to leave the store after a long two hours. Listening to the owner and customer argue. At times, he found it amusing, but the rest he was annoyed. Taking a turn to head towards a seemingly empty bench. Not paying attention to his surroundings he hadn’t noticed that he sat beside a woman. “It’s crazy, isn’t it? Two complete strangers who know nothing about each other being brought together like this.” The woman said rather chipper.

Glancing over at her he furrowed his brows slightly as he wondered when she got there. Averting his gaze, he continued to question. Blinking back his thoughts he looked back at her. “Aye, crazy indeed.” Not much else he could’ve said to her comment. He breathed in rather quick but not exactly exhaling right away. “When did…. I sat down with you, didn’t I?” He asked finally realizing what he’d done.

The light ceremony was the most beautiful event, I have ever been to.

Cries of desperate were not something foreign to the Ranger’s ears, but meows of desperate was a complete diverse story.

It was early morning and a thin layer of morning mist still covered the entire city like a blanket… with creatures of the night still stirring about in the dark alleys, trying to make themselves comfortable before the buzzing starts, with the awakening of those who walk boldly in the sunlight.

So now… it should be understandable on why Alea felt so shocked to see a group of noble ladies gather around beneath a tree and pointing upward at something dark in color…within the branches.

“What is the matter?”

Aleanissa asked as she steps forward with caution, and a brief look of suspicion flicked across her green hues. Since… it was not rare for nobles to play tricks on each other and especially with her because of her timid nature.

“Oh thank the Sunwell that you are here Alea! There is a stray stuck on this tree, and it had been meowing like crazy for the past hour or so…”

“An hour? and no one called a guard to get the poor thing down yet?”

She looked then from right to left and got her answer before anyone even needed to explain. No one called for anyone…or tried anything… all that they did…was watch a helpless cat cry for help and then complain it was being too noisy.

“A guard? Alea you can’t be serious…they all have better things to do than getting a stray cat out of a tre-”

Taking not even a whole minute…Alea had already stripped herself out of her heeled leather boots and rolled up her dress to the knees.  This shouldn't be something so hard to do…and this was not an act of courage but of humanity. 

The sound of snickering and murmurs…grew in volume as the female pulled herself up into the tree, but Alea would just disregard them all and held her arms up for the trembling cat to leap in…whenever it was ready. 

“Come on…I promise...I won’t hurt you…”

A few more gentle calls and a few more waves of her arms, the cat finally decided that was safe to be in her arms…and purred within the warmth, but now… its rescuer was at the center of unwanted attention.

“Did she not learn basic manners or something?”

The tree branch just then snapped under Aleanissa’s weight without warning…and although the fall wasn’t a long one, she could still hear a familiar voice yell out her name while rushing to her aid.
