Believe it or not, but I drew this before we got the reveal that we would've gotten him instead of THE MOLE... if you don't, just check reddit.
Regardless, I'm a big fan of this bozo and the official concept art of the scrapped Spring Bonnie inspired me to draw this piece. Overall I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out.
My main goal with this design was to have it resemble the Spring Bonnie costume we see in Vanny's recount of the MCI. I also referenced Malhare and Springtrap to avoid making Pit Bonnie resemble them too much (for example, I originally planned to give him a vest and buttons, but omitted them in the final design for the aforementioned reasons). Of course, I also had to make sure to make this fella come off as more "alive" than his peers, which is why I added the tufts of fur, claws, and crooked buck teeth. I would've also given him more "normal" front row of teeth, but changed that as his second set would remain largely invisible. Another trait I wanted to emphasize through his posture was the more feral and predatory nature of this entity, resulting in the slightly hunched posture. For the lack of a better comparison, I imagine he'd walk like one of the mindless evil pharmacists *cough* Doofenshmirtz.
Oh yeah, in case you're wondering... I discussed how his mechanics might work quite extensively over on reddit, but that was before we got info on him being up for official consideration. My favorite proposal came following the reveal, making the suggestion that he actually winds time back until he eventually jumpscares you when the timer hits 12 AM again (he'd emerge from the ball pit in pirate's cove and roam the pizzeria until you find him on the cameras to shock him).
I personally also liked the addition of him affecting some of Mendo's items, specifically those that deal with time:
Rewind Clock. Instead of just a single hour, it'll instead rewind two.
Distortion Clock. This item becomes nerfed to skipping only 30 minutes while Pit Bonnie is roaming the pizzeria, though it will work as usual when he's back in his ball pit. Fortunately, while affected in this manner, it'll also be 50% cheaper! However, should you choose to use it while he's out n about, his time wind-down is sped up until you banish him back to the pit.
