To just replace it willy nilly like that... it’d be like betrayal. But hey! Looks like the cherry on top didn’t touch the ground. He bends down to pick up the cherry, eating it like there’s no problem with that at all.

Favorite food: NO MEAT, PLEASE! Really fond of stir-fry tofu in curry. Favors spicy, sweet, hearty, and sour flavors. Not a huge fan of dry or bitter flavors, but they’ll eat just about anything when hungry enough. Favourite alcoholic drink: Fruity, girly drinks like margaritas, sangrias, daiqueries are their favorite. Wine only when they feel like being Fancy. If they’re drinking liquor straight out of the bottle, chances are there’s something Wrong. He’d regretted this the instant he’d made that dumb bet. He’d been honestly positive on how he’d win at first, but when he was shown the actual apparatus.. He wouldn’t comment exactly, but it was something lad lent on his less abled side. Thus, he’d been made to sing of all things.

Headtilt. “Well.. Even if you’re not, whatever you did is perfectly fine. You just don’t see many people being a bumbling mess like this unless they did something gay, incredibly embarrassing, or both.”

Crack and plink. Down went the component he’d been holding with tweezers, right down into the wrong section of what he’d been working on. And with a fizz it seems like the entire thing shorted out. 

Yup. He froze up, for a second simply staring down at the now mess of a creation. Only then did it catch on just what had caused his sudden twitch.

Why. Why why why? Why had he made the stupid idea to agree to this? He’d honestly thought it had been a joke, that the other would cancel the whole situation at the last second. Apparently not.

“This is...” Much more difficult than holding ones balance atop a set of Dynamo. You would of thought balancing on something that hovered in the air much more difficult than blades that remained on the ground. Apparently not, and clearly that lead to various strings of curses as the scientist grabbed onto the wall at the side.

Despite his tiredness, Add wasn’t one to leave something half finished. Force of habit really, and then there was the matter leaving things in a way people could actually understand. Maybe it was strange he’d gotten so into working on such a thing that was normally outside his area of expertise, yet learning and figuring it out wasn’t exactly hard. Then again, amount of knowledge residing in his mind from years of solitude could be to blame for that.

After hours in silence he’d managed to sort both materials, liquids and various other substances into different categories and reactions, various charts that pointed out various reactions to probably expect and could be changed quite easily if guesses were proven otherwise.

With that said and done the scientist settled his attention back into reality. All that broke the silence of his surroundings were the soft hums of machines and the occasional muffled sound. The hell? Body turned in chair in search of the culprit. Ha? Had Galen been sitting there the whole time? And just what was the deal with the kids, even if he was older than him, trembling.
