Valorant OC: Albedo Kreideprinz
Although Albedo is 23 years old both physically and mentally, he is a young man with much more knowledge at his age.
He was made from chalk 23 years ago by an Alchemist named Rhinedottir. His master named him Albedo Kreideprinz.
The meaning of the name Albedo is the reflective force of surfaces. His master had given him this name because he wanted Albedo to appear as he always was. So he wanted him not to deceive people and always show the truth.
The surname Kreideprinz simply comes from German. It means chalk prince.
Albedo was a successful and quick learner. Rhinedottir loved him, but still he wasn't gentle to him.
Albedo didn't have a childhood because he couldn't grew up like a human. He had the same height, tone of voice, and body size for 23 years. His hair was just getting long. But he was doing many of the things people do. He ate, slept, although not as much as other people, he began to be affected by heat and cold after a long time.
All was going well for Albedo. Rhinedottir used to tell him there was no limit to what he could learn. This situation always went to the hall of Albedo. But after about 18 years, Rhinedottir felt that he had taught Albedo everything he could and that Albedo now had to learn from his own knowledge. From the day he created him, he taught him everything without stopping.
But Rhinedottir never spoke to peoples if it's important. He didn't want Albedo to be like him, he wasn't someone who could teach him feelings. He might have been the most accurate person in science, but in human affairs Albedo had to go it alone.
And the day came when Albedo would never want him to come. He never expected this to happen.
One morning, when he came to his master's laboratory, prepared as usual, to do new research, a note on the table greeted him. He certainly wouldn't mess with his master's personal belongings, but the writing on it had convinced him to open it.
"This isn't my personal property, it's yours, Albedo."
He was surprised when he opened the paper slowly and read it. It was written on the paper that Rhinedottir had nothing left to teach him anymore, that he had to go his own way and not try to find him.
"Don't stop until you come across someone who makes you feel right, when you do, you'll know what I mean."
Those words echoed in Albedo's mind. It seemed counterintuitive to set out without knowing what he was looking for. But his master was never proved wrong.
Still, he couldn't help feeling this emptiness.
It was the first time he had set out with nothing, without thinking about anything. He didn't know what the person his master was talking about looked like. He didn't know what emotion he should feel.
Albedo didn't know emotions in general.
Albedo hadn't been in trouble for a long time, even though he didn't take anything with him. Albedo wasn't so hungry or thirsty, and he had no problems with sleeplessness.
However, it was winter and the weather was quite cold. Albedo had been walking nonstop for days.
Finally, he found himself in a crowded bazaar. Although he felt tired, he could hardly stop himself because of what his master had said.
But something stopped him. It was someone he bumped into in the bazaar.
Normally, he wouldn't easily lose his balance due to such a collision, but he was very exhausted and kept walking with his last energy. Although it didn't hurt much because of the softness of the snow, but he didn't feel like he could get up from the ground.
When he looked up, he saw the blond girl kneeling in front of him, looking at him with worried eyes.
"Are you okay? I'm so sorry I wasn't looking ahead."
He could neither react nor take his eyes off her.
"You look tired... Let's get you off the ground, shall we?"
Albedo nodded to her without saying anything. He was startled by the warm grip he felt under his arms, as she gently lifted him off the ground and held him.
"You look like you can't stand, can I help you? You can go later if you want."
Normally he would have turned down an offer like this, but he was in too bad condition to refuse and he felt like he would regret it if he refused her.
The girl smiled sweetly at him as she held Albedo.
"Lean on me for a few seconds, okay? Don't fall!"
Albedo nodded again, allowing her to pull him towards her. He was almost the same height as the girl, the first time he had seen someone shorter than him, even if it was 2 inches. He rested his head on her shoulder, and he smelled a mixture of caramel and cinnamon, and this scent almost intoxicated Albedo.
It wasn't bad, it was comforting. Because he didn't understand why this girl was so trusting him and close to someone she didn't know.
Still, Albedo trusted her because he wanted to, not because he had to.
The girl quickly wrapped the shawl around Albedo's shoulders and guided him to a nearby cafe. She offered him something hot and called someone.
"Come on, I'm not capturing anyone! I asked if I could help, and he agreed. Could you come quickly please?"
The girl hung up and apologized to Albedo.
"Sorry, it took a long time because my brother was making fun of me. My name is Mari, you can tell me your name when you feel comfortable. How did you get here? It's so cold and your clothes don't seem that thick. I think a normal person can withstand this weather for 2 hours at most. "
Albedo didn't know what to say to the girl's question. She had had to communicate with a few people before, and when she said she wasn't human, they didn't take kindly to her, or they didn't believe her, and they made fun of her.
He didn't really care about them, but the idea of this girl running away from him somehow made him feel bad.
Still, the girl looked very interested, and the first thing Albedo learned from her master was that she should never lie. He took a deep breath and looked at the table.
"My name is Albedo, Albedo Kreideprinz. I don't know how much your opinion of me will change, but unfortunately I am not a human being."
Albedo thought she had screwed up as the girl looked at him in surprise. The warm hand she felt on her cheek lifted Albedo's head slightly.
"Why did you say you're sorry? You're so beautiful, Albedo. It doesn't matter what you are, it's you after all. If you don't mind; if you're not human, may I ask what you are?"
Albedo felt weird with the girl's compliments.
Beautiful...what kinds of things were called beautiful? A flower or sunny weather? Maybe. But Albedo was sure he wasn't either of them.
"I was made with chalk by an alchemist. He was also my master."
"Isn't he your master now?"
Albedo had remained silent to what Mari had said. Mari got her answer from his silence. She cupped Albedo's cheeks with both hands and smiled.
“If you need a place to stay, I'm still here~ also if you have anything you want to ask me, you don't have to be afraid of me.”
Albedo felt a little warmer every time he looked at Mari. It was like his heart was racing.
There was no such thing in his researches.
"If it's okay, I won't refuse. And if you don't mind, I want to ask you something."
"Sure, it doesn't matter what you ask."
"I feel like my body is getting hot when you hold my cheeks like that, and I'm pretty sure my heart racing. Why is this happening?"
Mari looked at Albedo in surprise for a moment. She laughed at him and pinched his cheeks lightly.
"We call it emotion. You can obviously feel these things even though you're not human... You're very interesting, Albedo! Also, the emotion you're talking about is affection, which makes you excited that I do it. That means you like it when I'm doing it."
Albedo had listened carefully to what the Mari said. So he had a lot more to learn, but his master thought he couldn't teach that feelings to him.
One night, Albedo was lying on the grass in the base garden, watching the stars. He looked at his lover Mari, who was sleeping on his chest. He smiled at her and stroked her hair gently.
"I think I understand you now, master. But I need to thank her for everything. You know, she saved me and make me feel like a precious human and lover."
