★  - Perhaps it may have been better to turn around if it was an unknown threat.. but part of her curiosity was being piqued, Especially by this woman... she didn’t seem like much of a threat, But she should have known to look beyond the surface... the hums and gesture got a silent glance, But nothing more in regards to that or her first response... this place was somewhat similar to what she was used to, With the exceptions of new dangers like this.

A startled cry and thus ended his attempts to conceal himself. He stood forward, standing a few inches taller than her, but a clear difference beyond appearance made him apprehensive of her presence. She radiated power, an unknown type but one of great significance, even to him. In his current state, it was near impossible to tell what were to happen were they to become engaged in any sort of conflict. This was just something he could not make heads or tails of with just a glance. What was truly a determining factor in his decision to mind his distance however were her thoughts. Thoughts of superiority, assumptions of human weakness; she had judged and in theory, executed the humans she walked among like a tyrant whom only considered it a matter of fact to cull the weak. Someone of this nature was beyond his patience and it was an absolute necessity that he avoid all contact with her.

It’s a shame, he’d already messed up on that front. 

“Not actually a crime at all. In fact, you might not be in yourself lately.” Their rivalry had to step aside for now. Many things happened in Nazarick, as well as their vassal states. The talks of Ainz’ ‘death’, Philip’s attempt to take over Sorcerer Kingdom and others unmentioned. What worries them is the future of Nazarick.

     taking her to see one of the best and biggest new years eve events was much better than watching the ball drop on television. the two stand on the roof of a building with the perfect view of the humans partying and cheering a few stories below them and while the cold air saps the warmth from them both, sorun holds her close.

     ❝  ah, listen! the countdown is starting!  ❞ eyes alight with excitement, they look down to albedo briefly before their gaze returns to the ball slowly dropping. the cheering grows in volume and intensity, prompting their smile to get bigger. the demon’s hold on her hand tightens as they bounce excitedly on their feet. they didn’t anticipate the end of a new year could be so fun! time passes differently in hell, sorun had no idea when the year was at an end or when it started. well, sure they knew from books, but sorun never calculated the time of year at any point during their time in hell. they never saw the point in it.

     well, this isn’t at all what sorun was expecting to see when the other said it was finally okay to come in. it was certainly a surprise, but a beautiful and pleasant one at that. and the way she says their name, oh hell, it makes their knees weak. it takes all of their strength to not fall right into her arms and let her have her way with them.

     “ you look absolutely magnificent. “ they manage as they swallow past the lump in their throat. the longer they stare at her, the hotter their face feels and the darker their cheeks get. sorun just can’t look away, though. they don’t even want to try.
