“a shame — guess you’ll need to keep it on and risk me turning up then,” alanis muses, as if that’s the kind of thing that she should really be admitting to doing. it's not like carson seems to bothered by it now. her lips curve up into the start of a smile and she sinks her teeth into her lower lip to prevent it from becoming too wide. “i don’t know. it seems kind of fitting to me…”
