Rand al’Thor from the Wheel of Time series. I have been a fan for years and am glad to hear a TV series coming out of it. The only problem is that people will be calling it a Game of Thrones rip off even though Game of Thrones is kinda a Wheel of Time rip off. The game of thrones is based off of the game of houses, after all? And GOT author is a fan of WOT and GOT is inspired by WOT.

Anybody else still mad at the write up of the battle between Rand alThor and Jaime Lannister in the Suvudu finals a few years back? I know Rand won but the writeup predicting Jaime winning was ridiculous. Rand is basically a god. Wtf.
Seriously, sitting in a thunderstorm listening to the thunder and thinking about Rand Al'Thor calling lightning out of the sky like he does just really brings the power of it to life. Next time you WoT fans are in a thunderstorm think of Rand causing that but exponentially bigger. Gnarly. Also, rereading the series allows you to really appreciate all the non-Rand parts. Just getting into the Tanchico part and its pretty good. :)
