His idea of ‘giving and receive’ is kinda where it came from. Especially since, if, in the future he wanted to pursue something like a flowers shop the economics degree could help him.

Haures was at a loss. His heart filled with worry and anxiety as he stood outside of the bathroom door.

It had been close to three hours since you had locked yourself in there, refusing to come out for any reason.

“Master please, I’m worried,” he spoke through the door honestly.

This time you didn’t immediately yell ‘no’, instead you let the silence sit in the air. Building anticipation, and worry, with every passing second.

“….im embarrassed…..” you said softly, but loud enough for Haures to hear. He let out a small sigh, concluding that you weren’t hurt, but now the confusion set in.

“Embarrassed? There’s nothing to be embarrassed about Aruji-Sama,” he said confidently, “I don’t know what happened… but I promise there’s nothing to be embarrassed about.”

After a beat where Haures thought he failed to comfort you, he heard the door crack open. A simple sliver of your face was visible, and Haures felt his chest seize at the sight of your tear stained face.

“It looks so bad,” you cried as Haures gently pushed into the familiar room of the bathroom. Scanning over you he made sure you were okay. No cuts or scrapes.

“Uhh, what happened Aruji-sama?” Haures’ confused voice made you pause then flush read.

“Haures! Look at this!” You whined gesturing to your now lop sided hair. No more tears, you seemed more upset he didn’t notice.

“Ohh I see,” Haures said, thinking he finally got it, “it’s not bad Aruji-sama, it kind of looks like Ammon hair—“

“No! It doesn’t!” You huffed and went back over to the mirror, the upset returning once again as you looked at your hair. Jagged edges that were uneven, and a front that was shorter than the back. You were so cooked.

“Don’t worry Aruji-sama,” Haures said, appearing behind you with scissors in hand, “I know just how to help!”

“You…..do?” You asked, immediately suspicious of his confidence.

But Haures only smiled with a nod, assuring you that as your butler he was well equipped to handle this mishap.

You held your breath.

“HAURESSSS!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”

“I’m so sorry Aruji-sama!!”
