So, when my art prof told us to prepare presentations on Mary Magdalene depictions from different artists I launched myself into it without a second thought.

I learnt during the presentations of my class mates that Mary Magdalene is in fact NOT a fancy synonym for the Virgin Mary.

I. You have to understand. I looked at SO many M.M. depictions during my studies just thinking "daymn, that woman lived through some crazy shit after her son died."
