*:･ﾟ✧ sonic is,, v attached to shadow. while originally a nuisance by getting him into trouble he didn’t cause and causing him even more trouble with their constant butting of heads throughout the story, he eventually grew to respect him as both a rival and a friend and by the time he’s fallen from the ark, sonic can’t help being upset about losing him, especially considering he tried risking his own life in attempts to save him. he hides it of course, but even after the fact, it still hurts to think about in post-game verses/times.
*:･ﾟ✧ that being said tho, seeing shadow(s) in post-game threads/verses/etc will always have him ecstatic, even if they’re not from his universe.
