Momo would describe herself as a morning person. She liked watching the sunrise, she liked listening to the birds chirp outside the window, she even enjoyed the coolness of the morning outside, if she had to go outside that early. Mornings were beautiful and she liked to experience them.

Since dating Shouto and moving in together, mornings had become even better. She always woke before him and watching the rise and fall of his chest beside her made her feel at ease. Sometimes she would press her hand gently to his chest to feel his heart thrum beneath her fingers, trying to remind herself that he was real. 

Momo watched the slow twitch of Shouto’s eyelashes, red and white fluttering against his cheeks before slowly parting to reveal a deep black and a bright, icy blue. Momo always loved the difference in eye color, thought it was just as beautiful as the rest of him.

“Good morning.” She smiled.

Todoroki hummed and stretched a bit, kind of like a cat. Momo leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek, biting her lip as he looked over to her in shock. This was all still new, waking up next to each other every single morning, and  Momo would miss the perplexed look on his face every time she pressed her lips to his cheeks.

“You missed.” He mumbled half into the pillow.

“Hm?” Momo tilted her head to the side and it was her turn to be surprised as Todoroki leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. His lips lilted upwards as he pulled away.
