“Wh-,” a sound started from her throat. Her hand jumped to her neck, her eyes wide. “H-how?” Sweet and lilted. This voice came from her. She lifted her hand into view. Like honey in the golden rays that illuminated behind it. She almost thought it a dream had she not lived as a sole consciousness, unbounded by any vessel but the darkness that enveloped her.
