Booked a Delta flight and noticed your name isn’t quite right? Don’t stress—Delta has a flexible name correction policy for its 006 tickets (globally). Whether it’s a small typo or swapped first/last names, there’s often a way to fix it without cancelling your trip.

⚠️ Important Update: Name corrections for U.S.–China routes are not allowed right now. A new ticket is required in that case.

✅ You Can Fix:

Spelling errors (up to 3 letters in last name)

First and middle name typos

Inverted names (e.g., SMITH/JOHN → JOHN/SMITH)

Adding a second last name (like after marriage)

🚫 You Can't Fix:

More than 3 letters in the last name (without approval)

Interline flights with other airlines (contact Delta directly)

Making changes after already correcting once
