I don’t have any mains really. I love all of my partners, but like with real life, there are a few of my partners that I’m closer to and talk with out of character more than any of the others. I hesitate sometimes in doing asks of this nature because I do not want to make anyone feel left out, but I feel that isn’t fair to me either. I love and adore all of my partners and our plots/threads so this is in no way a slight against anyone not listed. 

@amongxashesxembers - Love all her characters. They are so welcome and inviting. Just like the mun that portrays them. I’ve gotten super close to her since I returned to my blog last summer, and I am pretty sure I’d be lost without her. So never go anywhere, okay? <3

@boltsandashes - We talk almost every day. Pretty sure she gets sick of me, but oh well! She’s opened my eyes to a lot of different things I never gave much thought about when it comes to Daryl Dixon, and I love that so much. So happy I didn’t let anxiety keep me from approaching you that day when I did. <3 

@burnslikefire - Syd, I don’t know where I’d be if you and I weren’t friends. I am pretty damned sure that you’re my bestie in the roleplay community. Yes, we’ve had our ups and downs, but we always come back together and work things out. I love you, honey! I’m proud of you for knowing when you need a break and knowing you can trust those that love and care about you to understand that you do. Not going anywhere, honey buns! 

@doginthecorner - You and I became better friends through a rocky time in my roleplay life, and I’m so glad that you chose to keep me around. I love that just about any Caryl plot that comes into my head that you’re game for doing. I cannot wait to see what these two chuckleheads get up to! 

@its-a-superpower - Woman! I wasn’t really into the whole pairing of Connie and Daryl, and for the show, I’m still not, but our threads give me life. They are so unique and completely different from anything I’m doing with anyone else. And you? My dear, you are hilarious as all get out and just a true gem and a joy to have as a friend. I’m so happy you came into my roleplay life and became my friend.

You and I have had it super rough, but we’re still here years later fighting that good fight. I wouldn’t have this blog if it wasn’t for you and your characters and all the plots/threads that we have going on. I don’t care if they take us 50 years to complete, I’m in for the long haul! Back before the turn, winter was Connie's favorite season, it was a nice change from the usually overwhelmingly hot weather where she used to live. Now it mostly brought trouble- yes, the cold made the walkers slower, but there was also a chance of starving or freezing to death, and as time went on and the supplies became scarce, that chance got higher, which meant that if they all wanted to live to see another spring, they needed supplies.

It had taken her some time, but Connie had managed to convince Magna that after what they had done to Oceanside and Hilltop, they owed the communities and apology, what better way to apologize than get them the supplies they so much needed? They'd all talked about it and reluctantly agreed, although they'd also agreed that Connie would be the one to go and tell them that they still had stashes they hadn't told anyone about- Kelly had offered to accompany her, but Connie had firmly declined, since her sister was already on thin ice and the first one people would come looking for along with Magna whenever something went missing.

It had taken Connie a whole day and a half to decided who she was going to approach about it. She ended up choosing Shane because the man had always acted quite approachable and because even though she had never spoken to him before, he'd been one of the only ones to not point their way whenever something went missing.

The words "I know where we can find supplies." had been written on her notepad since the day before, so she just had to find the man, tap his shoulder and hand the pad over for him to read. "There's a stash with supplies- Not Stolen," she underlined the last two words. Not wanting to even leave room for him to think that they'd also stolen from Hilltop again.

❝ you  what ? ❞  lori  gaped,  attempting  to  comprehend  the  weight  of  what  shane  had  just  admitted.  this  was  the  last  thing  she  could  have  anticipated  when  he  pulled  her  to  the  side  of  the  farmhouse  to  talk,  though  the  manic  glare  in  his  eye  should  have  clued  her  in  that  something  was  very,  very  wrong.  ❝ christ,  shane,  are  you  insane ?! ❞  she  stepped  back  from  him,  feeling  sick.  had  he  done  this  for  her ?

Beth gathered her clothes from her cell before she headed to the showers to get washed up for bed. At the last minute, she decided to go ahead and shower and wash her hair so she grabbed the shampoo and body wash that had been given to her at the beginning of the month. 

She made sure that the showers were empty before she moved to the one closest to the door and pulled the curtain closed and placed her things on the shelf that had been put there for everyone to use. She pulled her hair down from her ponytail (1) then pulled off her shirt (2). She reached behind her and quickly unhooked her bra (3) before she eased her feet out of her boots (4) and removed her socks (5). 

She then reached to turn on the water from the shower and adjusted the amount of spray that came out just over the drain. The water was cool, not as cold as it had been in the past, but it made one want to hurry with the way it could chill your body if you lingered too long. She undid her belt, leaving it in her jeans and then easily slipped her jeans down her legs (6). She then easily slipped off her panties(7). 

She quickly stepped under the spray and wet her hair. She turned the water off as she lathered up her hair and then her body, and then turned it back on as she rinsed it off quickly. She was shivering as she reached for her towel and wrapped it around her body. She could hear the sound of footsteps approaching. “Who’s there?”

Not one damn word.” He could already hear what his partner, and best friend, had to say just by the look on his face, and he wasn’t having any of it. He had fucked up, and he didn’t need to be reminded of that fact.
