#latergram — Realized I didn’t post an actual show recap. Oops. Anyways—the 2022 New Vocations All Thoroughbred Charity Show was an amazing experience. The show was super well run, the staff were all super nice and helpful, the jump courses were challenging but fun, and our group had an absolutely wonderful time. Regis was very up and not his usual calm self, but in spite of that and my piloting errors, we still managed to place in every class—including a 1st place in the 2’9”. He came home with a bit of a knot on both front legs so he got his ice boots, liniment, and scratched from his Sunday classes. His legs have since returned to normal and is ready to prepare for whatever our next show will be. I was super bummed he didn’t get to show off his AMAZING braids by his auntie @paigyharris — hopefully we can redo them for the championship show. 😉 Poet was such a rockstar! She acted like an old pro. She marched around her flat classes so well that we decided to enter her in the Crossrails equitation classes on Sunday where she was 2nd and 3rd.
