Elektra things
Aimonomia is the first (relevant) person to meet her after she emerges from the depths of Everkeep; they find her chilling in one of the parks outside of the residential radii. Aimo - who is a huge Brute Bomber fan and is currently upset about his recent retirement - only approaches her at all because they figure she might be a fellow fan upset at the recent turn of events (Aimo is otherwise an extreme introvert).
There's some. confusion. obviously, because as Aimo speaks about the Brute Bomber, some of Elektra's memories start stirring, and she eventually concludes, baffled, "I... think I am the Brute Bomber."
Like hell she is, says Aimo
Small sick kid getting very frustrated and irate with a stranger in the park,
And Elektra's not even really angry in return, because hell, she doesn't know. She has no idea who she is. She barely even remembers waking up as the Brute Abombinator a couple of days ago and has more or less been sitting in the park ever since, unsure of what to do or where to go and with no clear memory of who she even is. She's settled on the name "Elektra" just from plucking through memories and finding one that seems vaguely familiar.
Aimo calms down enough to recognize that This Girl Needs Help. Can they be that help? Probably not. But they also can't really leave her out in the park, can they? Anyway, she's probably not quite right in the head (her favorite fighter retired and it broke her mind. mood.), so eh, she'll probably forget Aimo in a few days anyway.
DURING this time, of course, the WoL (I've been envisioning Tajna) is off challenging Retsarra to a high-stakes bet: whoever loses has to give up the thing that gives their lives meaning. All of Everkeep is buzzing with it, including Aimo - the Howling Blade is also one of their favorite fighters, and they'd love to see him grind the Unaugmented Upstart into the dust after what she did to the Brute Bomber!
Aimo and Elektra watch the fight together at Aimo's apartment, with Aimo excitedly telling her all about the Howling Blade, champion of the Cruiserweight division, and Elektra's got this
weird
feeling
like this guy seems familiar
somehow
hm
So they watch the fight, of course, and the Howling Blade loses, of course, and Aimo is devastated and furious. Their other favorite just retired and now this, the upstart is ruining EVERYTHING they HATE her and they didn't even get the chance to fight her themself; they didn't qualify for this tournament and if their faves couldn't beat her they probably didn't stand a chance but THEY DESERVE A SHOT-
And Elektra's just kind of quietly freaking out and terrified for reasons she can't even fully understand or grasp; the idea of Retsarra (how does she know his name is Retsarra?) (how does she know that.) (HOW DOES SHE KNOW THAT??) being forced to retire scares her so badly.
Why is she scared?
Why is she so afraid for him?
She doesn't even know him.
Does she?
Touching #43 for Elektra and Aimo. I know what I’m about :|
Touching prompts (still accepting)
It's not often they have the residential park to themselves, especially not this late in the afternoon. Not that either of them are complaining, of course - it means there's no one around to gaze sidelong at Aimo's wheelchair, or to wonder at Elektra sprawling long-limbed in the grass.
"You were doing that when I first found you," Aimo remarks, amused - then, as now, they'd wheeled themself right up next to the peculiar girl. "Does it... feel nice?"
Elektra smiles, eyes closed. "Mm. Real sunshine would be better."
Aimo glances skyward, dubious. "Real sunshine."
"You could come down here too," Elektra suggests, cracking one eye open. "Try it for yourself."
24: What is your OC like when they're upset? For Anjyu, Bewwy, Aimo, and Marionette!
i'll go ahead and take this as a frustrated/angry type of 'upset' for consistency's sake lmao
anjyu gets actually visibly cross when he's genuinely upset. furrows his brows, frowns, sometimes even looks like he's about to growl, and sometimes he does indeed grumble not unlike that. he gets antsy, like pacing or tapping/stomping his feet. his feelings of being upset--often hand in hand with being overstimulated--tend to build up like a meter and either it goes back down, or it overflows and he lashes out in some way
berry is a pouty, disbelieving sort. "how could you be so mean?!?!?! >:T" and all that. she doesn't get Angry, just grumpy with you. even if she's peeved off at a big men ascian she'll sooner just try giving them a stern talking to instead of beating them up. if something ever upsets her--which isn't often at all--it's impossible not to tell when looking at her.
aimo at their most upset is actually a crying sort, but they try not to let it get to that point, and being moody as a baseline actually helps--if they're already some level of grumpy or frustrated on a daily basis, then things will piss them off less, if that makes sense (it does to them, at least.) legit 100% angry aimo is a thrashing, screaming, sobbing aimo. messy and ugly and raw.
marionette tries to hide when she's legitimately upset, keyword 'tries'. she is Not good at concealing her emotions unless she physically alters her ability to show them, which, sometimes she actually does. she's ticked off easily, and it's plain to see. she gives unblinking death glares, she groans, she scoffs, she sighs dramatically, she'll throw a wrench at you. she often gets angry out of sorrow or regret or frustration with herself rather than others, which makes her moodiest of all, because she can't help that she just... doesn't have the most complex systems of emotions, or capacity to work through them
