I'm so sorry for what happened with this whole pregnancy thing, Cait. I had no idea about the cards and that she got Ekko in on it.
Last time I spoke with Jinx, she was having a breakdown over me pointing out how she shouldn't let Isha lick security camera screen at the supermarket. I don't know where she got time to do all this behind my back. This is probably one of the weirdest pranks she tried to pull on you. We will talk about it, don't worry. You really shouldn't be dealing with all these people asking about the baby or whatever.
But this got me thinking. Do you ever want us to have kids, maybe? Definitely not right now, haha, but maybe later down the line, when everything settles down a bit? You don't have to answer right away, I'm just curious.
I was thinking of getting more wood for the fireplace, but now I don't think we'd need that now, because of all the waste paper we're about to have haha. So, you want me to get anything?

You really didn't need to apologize to me for any of this, Violet. Jinx and Ekko have always had a talent for turning the smallest spark into a spectacle, and I would hardly expect you to answer for the chaos they create.
Still, I do appreciate you coming to me about it. That part means far more than the situation itself. And you certainly don't need to justify where the whole thing came from or recount your last conversation with Jinx to explain it away. None of that is your responsibility, and I won't have you carrying blame that was never yours to begin with. If people want to gossip themselves into circles about babies that don't exist, that is very much their own problem.
As for what you asked… that's something we can talk about when you're home. Not in passing, and certainly not buried in the middle of a letter about one of Jinx's more creative disasters. It deserves a proper conversation between us, and I'd rather we have it privately where neither of us has to rush our thoughts.
And you're probably right about the fireplace. We may have enough scrap paper to keep it going for quite some time... But since you asked, if you're already out, I wouldn't object to you bringing back a tin of jasmine tea.
