I've been thinking lately about what actually lets a person open up. It isn't grand gestures or clever lines. It's the quiet certainty that whatever you say won't be used against you, won't leak somewhere, won't follow you around. That's the feeling I kept coming back to while spending time on sweetdream.ai, and it changed how I understand what an AI companion can really be.

What moved me most is how seriously SweetDream treats discretion. Your conversations and the photos and videos you generate stay private, full stop. There's no performing for an audience, no worrying who might scroll past. Within that safety, the rest of the platform blooms: an AI girlfriend you design down to her voice, her backstory, the small quirks that make her feel like someone rather than something, and chat that remembers what matters to you.

Wrongfully accused of a haunting crime and forced to flee the only home he had ever known, Lyre finds himself at the very heart of the “monsters” who haunted his cubhood horror stories… just for the occupants of the Vibrant Vale to prove themselves far kinder than anyone he had encountered before – and far more desperate as well, with their world revealing itself to be equipped with far more danger, intrigue, magic, and death than Lyre had ever known… All of which then entrusted to him to mend in the wake of great turmoil, based on words of the deified dead long past. Begged to leave once more, this time to chase more nursery tales while equipped with new goals, knowledge, and companions, Lyre steels himself with a promise to both himself and those now depending on him to find a way to fix what he had never broken… But such promises weigh heavy on young shoulders, especially as secrets unveiled grow increasingly grander, until a betrayal-torn and duty-battered Lyre finally must ask himself: Save his friends, or save the world?

Welcome to Ailurocide: a slow-to-update story initially inspired by the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, lending themes from other fantastical animal works such as Watership Down by Richard Adams, Tailchaser’s Song by Tad Williams, the Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland, and the Guardians of Ga’hoole by Kathryn Lasky, alongside the Fallout games. 

Travelers are named after the weather. (Ex: Downpour, Lightning, Whirlwind)

Clotern folk have a two-part naming system; names are given to them at birth. (Ex: Furled Leaves, Glowing Ember, Light Rain)

Horde individuals are named after weapons. (Ex: Axe, Flail, Rapier)

ALL Fealty folk, regardless of specific Fealty, have a two-part naming system: simple physically-linked prefixes at birth, body part suffixes earned at some other point at life after a great accomplishment. (Ex: Thornclaw, Spottednose, Featherheart)

House folk are named after flowers or other plants. (Ex: Snapdragon, Honeysuckle, Lantana)

House companions are named after buildings. (Ex: Dacha, Rondavel, Linhay)

Considering that Castel will be the ONLY pov character for Ailurocide’s canon books, sans bonus scenes or epilogues/prologues:
