After the incident, no one from the outside world was allowed to visit him. Isaac was allowed to know very little, but he could at least guess the situation from overhearing bits and pieces. Something went wrong. He wasn’t supposed to not remember anything. They were trying to find a way if they can reverse what has been done. It took them a while to finally inform him what had happened. Not soon after, Isaac was finally allowed to have his first visitor: David Buchanan, his father.

Or at least, that’s what everyone said. Isaac felt like he has never seen the man before in his life. But if the way his face just fell when he first laid eyes on Isaac was any indication, David knew him. When Isaac was finally released, he had no choice but to stay with David. Who else would have taken a murder in? 

He was supposed to feel at ease and yet, after weeks of staying inside David’s home, Isaac couldn’t help but feel like a stranger intruding in someone else’s life. With his bank and what’s left of his possession reinstated back to him, Isaac told David that it was about time he starts looking for his own place. David eventually agreed with much hesitation. 

When Amos saw Aila sitting one of the tables in the pub where they first met, he wasn’t surprised at all. In fact there were such as that day, when Amos visited the pub solely to see Aila just in case life became boring for a little while and Amos needed a friend to argue with. That day though, Amos; mind was clouded and he needed to talk to someone about it. And as much as he loved Gideon, Amos just couldn’t find it in him to talk to him about it. He needed someone who could cut the crap and tell it to him straight. Someone like Aila.
