Just to accompany today’s post on my main blog: Aidipsos in the 1940s. Most of the buildings shown here (including, but not limited to, the Thermae Sylla hotel in the far left and the Town Hall seen above the sitting girl’s head) still exist. I already knew this postcard from eBay auctions - then, recently, I was happy and surprised to find an example of the original in my grandmother’s “shoebox”, along with the family’s old photos.
