I really like imagining Eden as something close to Lyla from Across the spider verse or the Hatsune Miku hologram (it has since discontinued, lol). A cute avatar in cute fits constantly throwing out jokes and one liners. I really like this concept!

Yes!! Lyla is also one of the characters that I used as inspo when creating Eden!! Just a silly girl in cute clothes and with an unique style, able to joke around but fully focus on her job when the situation requires it!!
Ahhh a Hatsune Miku type of hologram would be pretty cool!! Simon's loser ass would be able to imagine her as being real easier, but a tiny hologram like Lyla would also be pretty cool, able to glitch around and annoy its owner even better JHBFEBHJEFHJBKFE

She's not an android, so no!! For now, she's displayed in a tiny 🤏 screen that can be attached and detached from weapons, and she was fully designed by human engineers!
Is Eden a computer program or a robot thing? Because sometimes I picture Echo from Overwatch and other times I imagine her as as the smart phone in that movie where it's like "place me on the table. I wish to flop around in a blind rage!"

She's inspired by the MW2/MW3 Battle Buddies! You can imagine her in a screen like this one, hanging from Simon's weapons and detached from them when he's not in active duty. Simon always has the little screen with him :')
Echo is actually one of the characters that gave me inspiration to create her, though Eden is purely an AI assistant! She doesn't have a physical body as Echo does— yet, so a model of the reader's appearance is added in her display screen in order to give the user a more natural and human experience, rather than only being able to hear her voice, or to use a robotic model.
Her systems will eventually be upgraded to the point she can manifest as a hologram, but for now, she's trapped in the tiny screen, bothering Simon with facts that her brain that can process millions of tasks and information at once can find online!!
