Lance paused. He had his glasses just there. Carefully, he shuffled his feet back and looked at the ground. It was a blurry blob of brown with the hardwood floors. “Where?” he questioned himself and knelt down. His hands felt around for where his glasses could be. He crawled under the desk, hoping that they’d be there.

“Lance? What are you doing?” Lance startled and slammed his head against the wood of the desk. He groaned and clutched at his head. Footsteps hurried and a pair of hands helped Lance out from under the desk. “Lance?! Are you alright?”

“Just a concussion,” Lance grumbled overdramatically as he peered up at the blurred-out Barbatos. “I can’t see without my glasses, and I can’t find my glasses because I can’t see!”

Barbatos sighed as he knelt down and carefully examined Lance’s head for a hematoma. “Your head appears fine. As for your glasses,” Barbatos trailed off. His eyes examined the desk and he quickly grabbed them, hiding behind Lance’s laptop. “Here you are.” He placed the glasses on Lance’s face and smiled softly. “Better?”

Lance blinked and looked at Barbatos. “You look much better when I can see and you aren’t blurry. I’m jealous.”

“Jealous? Do you think you look better when you’re blurry?” Barbatos’s voice was lined with concern.

“Well yeah,” Lance said with a light laugh. “The blurriness hides my flaws.”

Barbatos sighed, knowing Lance was mostly just joking with the shit-eating grin he was giving him. “I like how you look with perfect vision.”

Lance was quiet. “Is demon vision better than human vision?”

“Yes.”

Lance looked away with a bright blush. “Don’t look at me.”

“No, I want to look at you.”

gorai isnt even real its way more interesting if theyre SUPER best friends but also rivals (they are sonic and shadow to me but like goggles is more ditzy lol) that see each other every 3 months and it becomes increasingly clear that they both have attachment anxiety for like a week and then Rider does a kickflip or smth and disappears for another year and reappears with like 30 more scars

I just watched the second Pacific Rim and my brain's got all the red flags up

I don't need horror movies since my brain produces shit waiting to get me in the dark
