OH MY GOSH ! Sorry, I know itโs not that big of a deal, but I HATE that Masky, Tim, and Hoodie/Brian are watered down into โProxies for Slendermanโ like, I really enjoy the slendermansion AU too, but THEY ARE NOT PROXIES! THEY HATE SLENDERMAN/THE OPERATOR AND ITS WILD TO HAVE THEM WORK FOR THEM!
Maybe it makes more sense for Tim, because heโs very susceptible to The Operator, but Brian ?!?! Itโs okay that people have AUs, in fact, I encourage it, but pleeeaaasse take the time to learn about the characters you like when you say โI love Masky!! Heโs so grumpy and loves cheesecake!!โ Sighhhh..
okay iโm like very impressed with myself for the look that i finally decided on for my smoochie gorl date!! it took me less than an hour please someone hire me as your personal stylist so i can play dress up with more people other than just myself ๐
"I can think of one Antivan Crow in particular who could use a little help from Restfulness."
Um... So... About that. I might have just done a thing. Dipping my toes in the water, shall we say.ย I wrote a snippet.ย I'd still like to keep sending you asks on Anon (if that's still okay) as Charmer, too, but this would require me to message you since it would be too long to send in an ask.
Gimme Gimme Gimme!!!

there's genuinely so much to love about the SUE interview, but as a cinephile and media nerd i loved the aside about how artists so often romanticize/fetishize a torturous process and hope that the difficulty will translate into quality.
like wanting to work with difficult directors because it will be "worth it" is so relatable and something that should be part of the conversation when we talk about assholes in the industry. how often does someone green sign on to a project maybe knowing it'll be hard because it feels like an appropriate price to pay?
and i think in part it's because being creative can be torturous (for some of us, at least), and the only way to feel like the pain/the process is worth it, ultimately, is to cling to it as meaningful as important. but that's just cope.
