After everything was cleaned and there were no guests to serve, entertain or cook for, Odette went to the kitchen to prepare a treat for herself and Lily.
Instead of having afternoon tea, Odette prepared afternoon parfaits, especially since the fruity dessert was a favorite of her older sister. She placed the two treats on a tray and went out to find Lily somewhere at Three Sisters Inn.
“I think it’s about time you and I take a break--” Odette made her presence known, a playful smile on her lips as she lifts up the tray of fruit parfaits. “--care to join me? ♪”
