Shuffling under the thick blanket, Izuku scooted closer to the redhead, making sure the other was properly shielded from the chilly temperature of the room. Even though Kirishima had abandoned the spot for just a few minutes, his clothes already felt cold against Izuku’s hands. Despite his own need to pee, he felt that his own warmth and comfort was a much bigger priority.
This level of closeness made Izuku feel just slightly warmer, enough to make the curve of his ears prickle in embarrassment. He was cautious as he draped the blanket over, lowering his arm so it was barely looped over Kirishima’s hip.
He silently hoped that this position wouldn’t become unbearable, since he had the tiniest urge to cuddle up against his friend. “I’ve been under here the entire time. Why’s the air conditioning turned up so much?”
With a small grumble Izuku shuffled closer to the other body, tucking his head underneath Kirishima’s chin.
“Don’t worry, I’ll keep this spot warm for both of us.”
“It's better like this. Then you can bury yourself in blankets!”
Eijirou dealt much better with heat than cold, but there was something he enjoyed about being a blanket burrito. Having another person sharing his space, however, that was new. With the villain attacks, and the events leading up to the building of the U.A. dorms, nightmares had become a more common occurrence for all of the students. As a result, he was only mildly surprised when Midoriya had shown up at his door earlier in the evening asking to stay over. The warmth of another body, and the rhythm of another heartbeat ... sometimes those simple things helped stave off the darkness. Supposedly there was a curfew in place, but most of them had discovered that as long as you stayed on your side of the building, it was fairly safe.
He settled in once more, relaxing against Midoriya's warmth. He himself didn't have much in the way of a personal space bubble, though he shifted slightly as he felt the other teen's head against his chin. That was his one sensitive spot, and the only place his Quirk didn't affect. An accidental headbutt in the middle of the night would be almost as bad as one of those damn persistent nightmares.
