Sir Boast-a-Lot wasn’t a very happy knight who lied to himself on the daily. He’d say he didn’t have feelings because he wanted to be the best — but he really did have a lot of feelings!

So many feelings he had that when Squire John and Village Mary got married, he exploded so painfully on the inside, because Squire John was no longer hunting dragons with him. But it all turned out fine because Sir Boast-a-Lot liked Village Mary and Village Mary liked Sir Boast-a-Lot. But it wasn’t that simple, was it?

One Day —— It turned out that Village Mary was a L I A R !

    Oh yes, been lying to Squire John and Sir Boast-a-Lot for a long time! Not to mention lying to Sir Boast-a-Lot’s lovely parents who’d done no one harm.

She KILLED PEOPLE! Just like the big Dragon who was hunted to its death on the castle rooftops.

But did Sir Boast-a-Lot hunt Village Mary down like they should’ve? NO! Because Sir Boast-a-Lot took it upon his kind heart to lie to everyone else to protect her!

The real danger, however, came with Charles Augustus Magnussen. Charles Augustus Magnussen was a very bad wizard who could summon information with magic to use against any villager he wanted, and he wanted Village Mary. So Sir Boast-a-Lot walked through fires and pits to find this very elusive wizard to strike a deal, but the wizard was just too clever!

Seeing nothing else he could do to save Village Mary and ailing to his explosive heart, Sir Boast-a-Lot drew his sword and impaled Charles Augustus Magnussen!

But just a second later, Sir Boast-a-Lot realised that for all the aches and pains in his big, big heart from the time Village Mary appeared in Squire John’s life to the time he came to fully accept her to the time he found out she’d been lying to the time he forgave her and killed for her, consequences for taking a life had to be met.

After all the generous things he had done, Sir Boast-a-Lot had to be locked up in prison forever.
