Inside your device, there lay a app used frequently. A game. A story. A world. Things given life by you witnessing them, characters showered with love and attention, yet still greedy for more.

Your connection to their world was fragile. A fleeting glimpse of light, something that felt all encompassing, but they knew it could vanish without a moments notice. And yet they believed.

Hope is not something many at NRC believe in, since it's foolish to hope for something that simply couldn't come true. Yet when it came to you, they hoped, they hoped and hoped and hoped you would never leave. That your time with them would last forever.

And it turns out? They were right. It Was foolish to believe such a thing. They learned this lesson the hard way one day, when you never showed up. And again they learned it the next day. The most foolish... Or the most 'hopeful' kept learning this lesson with every day you failed to appear.

Yet, even the most pessimistic of them couldn't help but wonder. Why would you leave now? Had something happened? They believed they had done more than enough to keep you captivated, keep you Entertained. Entranced and entangled in their world so much, that you could leave on a whim.

So the powerful mages among them decided they would learn why. For closure they'd say. Really that just want confirmation that it wasn't their fault. That's when Idia came in to reveal he found you, bringing news that shocked everyone.

You hadn't left, you were forced out. A freak accident and the loss of a password left you locked out of their world, possibly permanently. But not from Twisted Wonderland as a whole, as Idia discovered.

A new account, a new instance of this world. With characters that were merely that, Characters. The circumstances that led to their own personal self awareness not having taken place, and it probably never could considering how rare it was for it to happen in the first place.

You didn't want to be rid of them! Even though certain few among the boys were still upset, saying things about how you 'replaced them', the relief was still tangible. Though it left a question burning in their minds again.

Now what?

Sure it's a relief you still cared for them and this world, but it's not like they can benefit from just knowing that, and no longer being the recipients of that care! As the time passed, they didn't know what to do over this... Until at last, a door opened to them.

They could sense it, you were calling to them. And as they felt your care reach them again, they walked to the mirror, pushing their way through to the other side. And waking up within those coffin shaped 'gates' as they had many times before.

It's you! You must have given them another chance to stay with you even in this new Twisted Wonderland! They understand now player, and they won't let you down. ...they just need to delete this world's character of themselves in order to make their place in it...

Thank you player! They swear, this time nothing shall make you part ways again!

...okay, turned out less sad and more yandere than I expected, but hey, I never claimed I knew how my brain works. Anyway though, love your ideas! And genuinely I'm glad you're taking the new account thing well!

Glad the Riddle card is of use btw :D he was my first SSR, and carried me through all the story battles easily. (Up until book six and that whole thing, but you get the idea haha)

And ah yes MD (medical doctor) Malleus Draconia himself, he's such a silly, I love him haha. If you haven't seen that one egophiliac comic of their Yuu thinking it actually meant medical doctor, highly recommend it! (I would link it, but it would take a LOT of scrolling down, and I don't Wanna Do That right now lolol)
