2. lighter or matches? / 29. how do you like your shower water? / 47. what was the last message you sent?
here's a strawberry for ur time 🍓
2. lighter or matches?
can I say that I don't prefer either? 😭 I didn't know how to use a lighter for most of my life and couldn't figure out how to light a candle without burning myself. although maybe if I had one of those long lighters that would be easier. I've never used matches though but they sound just as scary
29. how do you like your shower water?
I like it hot but not so hot that it's scalding
47. what was the last message you sent?
ummm well I'm having a conversation right now with a friend where we're talking about how we both wanna have domestic romantic lives so it's hard to say since that's an ongoing conversation. the last one before that was... me saying I love you to my gf. sorry for being so lovepilled ghdlkfhkdglhj
it's good to have a hobby, collecting or otherwise...
Exactly thats what im saying! I keep my worlds biggest seashell collection on every beach on the entire planet for example
🧋
I still need to get Boba, idk why but I keep on putting it off
can i have a fortune please? looks like this will be the third and final one. thank you for having me :).

what's your creative process like?
Thank you so much for the question!
I sort of feel a lot of it out; when I feel the urge to go out for photos I try to choose a location I feel is going to generally give me conditions I won’t have to wrestle with - which usually means going to some place open like a meadow or pond if it’s overcast or otherwise dimly lit, or to the forest if it’s an extremely bright day and I need some shade.
Then, it’s just a matter of taking a lot, lot, lot lot lot of photos. On a good, full photography day I usually come home with about 600 photos - most of which get filtered out. I take photos of whatever it is that catches my eye as I walk slowly, just trying to... capture the moment, as I see it, through the many many details.
Usually I’ll have a rough theme in my head that starts to take shape after a few dozen photos and getting a feel for the land. Maybe the theme is water after a rain, or light through boughs, or hayferns changing color for autumn - whatever to me seems to be a really dominant feature of that place in that moment, and usually I’m drawn to details that correspond to whatever emotion I’m feeling, which is in turn the emotion I’m trying to convey (at least, the details correspond to me).
When I photograph I try to make sure that for every detail I think “I can see with my eyes that this is beautiful, so there must be a good shot somewhere in here” I take special care to try to get many different angles and compositions of the same subject, hence why I have so many photos at the end of the day.
When I finally come home with my several hundred photos in tow, I start pretty aggressively thinning them out - getting rid of duplicates, or just deleting any photo that doesn’t have good composition, in my eyes.
From there it’s a matter of editing, which I do pretty slapdash. I don’t usually use repeat presets, I just make them bespoke for every set. Sometimes I have a really really good idea of exactly how the set should be edited even while I’m out taking photos, sometimes it’s a lot of waffling, trying really hard to capture a specific mood through color and shadow.
When alllllll the photos are edited and curated, I finally go through the folder of that day’s photos, and try to pair off photos into photosets, writing down the number code for the photos in groups of two or three. (I think I realized the other day my preferred tendency is to put together two photos which have a very similar palette but very different composition, if at all possible.)
And finally, when the uncaptioned photos are all queued up, I go in and edit them all with a caption to put a bow on the series.
Friendo, that last post tagged as Usagi but that be Minako I think
THANK YOU, when i was tagging i had the same doubt xd
agythi replied to your post “So like, is Best Jeanist’s superpower just “denim”
actually he can control all fabrics. he has the ability to free manipulate fabric and basically can force people to do whatever he wants as long as they are wearing clothes as seen with bakugo. denim is simply the easiest while sweats are apparently the hardest to work with.
so best jeanist is best at jeans
