A god to consider: Hygeia π«§βοΈπ«§βοΈπ«§βοΈ
Daughter of Asklepios, god of medicine, and companion and caretaker of Lady Aphrodite, Hygeia is the Goddess of radiant health, self care, and hygiene. In classical sculpture, she was often depicted as a woman holding a large serpent in her arms. Although not much is known about her in the greek epics, it is known that she was a faithful attendant to lady Aphrodite, and was the barer of good hygiene and beauty who blessed the citizens of Greco Rome with the cures to illness, the radiance of hygiene, and good and lasting health! She was also widely associated with the act of cleanliness and sanitation, especially in Athens where she was most popular, a custodian goddess, if you will. Although not much of her cult exists today, she is a very interesting goddess, however obscure she may be, and could be a useful and graceful goddess to become work with!
