Never Ask If She's Pregnant
Maybe not exactly the same thing, and while it has been a year since I've seen him, a professional colleague came up to me and said, "What happened? Did you get punched?" and pointed at his cheek. After a moment to gather my most professional self I said, "You mean these brown sun and age spots?" Yeah, that's what he meant. Now that he mentions it, they're on both cheeks. Awkward silence ensues.
At least it's justification for the laser facial appointment I'd already scheduled for next week.
