i like Haida I think people don’t like him because we’re so used to TV sliding in that “nice guy” trope that we don’t even give the show a chance to show his real direction. He proves continuously that he genuinely cares for retsuko above his crushes and value her as a person and friend first. i don’t know how i feel about retsuko possibly ending up with him but I’m not against it?
