and i was re-reading some scenes i posted a while ago where krennic and reader irritate the living daylights out of each other. i have no earthly clue where this came from, but i just thought of an absolutely hilarious, completely unhinged way for krennic to shut reader up.

no context other than they are arguing.

Krennic was glaring at you with his head cocked to the side and a condescending eyebrow raised. “Are you done?”

“Not remotely! And another thing—“

Krennic rolled his eyes and sighed heavily as you continued your tirade. Without warning, he raised his open hand directly in front of your face. You were temporarily too stunned by the suddenness and absurdity of his gesture to react.

“What the fuck!” you tried to exclaim, but you never got the words out. Krennic had clamped his oversized, gloved hand over your entire face. He had two fingers on either side of your nose and his thumb was clenching your jaw shut. Krennic was effectively palming your entire face, using his hand to muzzle you. For a moment you just stared at him in wide-eyed astonishment.

You tried to jerk away, but his fingers were ridiculously strong. You couldn’t pry his fingers off or shove his arm away.

Krennic licked his lips, very clearly trying not to laugh at your antics.

You stopped struggling and tried to think of another way out of this insane predicament. You couldn’t open your mouth to bite him or even lick his palm. You were stuck.

“Now are you ready to behave?” he asked.

You gave a muffled shriek of frustration, but all you could do was stomp your foot and glare at him through his fingers.

“Didn’t quite catch that my dear, but I’ll take that as a yes,” Krennic smirked.
