Epilogue - Three years later
As time went by, Julia decided she wanted to try running for Prime Minister since she never had the chance to announce her bid that day at St. Matthews.
Unsurprisingly, she had won in a landslide as the country had fully embraced working mothers in high positions of power. After Christine Nolan--Julia’s predecessor--things had changed for women. More women ran the country than in the years before and there were multiple bills that had passed through Parliament in favor of women’s rights. A few of them were ones that Julia had lobbied herself and David had never been more proud.
Finally residing in Number 10 with her husband and four-year-old daughter, Julia felt happy to have reached her political goal.
