• Deceit is aromantic and in a queerplatonic relationship with Roman

• Roman is his caregiver, but occasionally Logan and Remus will step in if Roman is needed by Thomas or just can’t be there

• Remus is more like the Fun Big Brother™ but can actually be very soft if Deceit needs him to

• He normally regresses to 2-3 years old, but will occasionally go up to 5 or 6

• Winnie the Pooh !!!! Snakes !! Big stuffies that he can hug and hide his face in!

• Can be very cuddly and giggly

• Really doesn’t like to be alone, it takes the energy right out of him and either makes him age up or regress to an even younger age

• Has two adorable Winnie the Pooh onesies and snake pjs that Remus got him for his birthday, all of which he wears almost exclusively

• Remus and Logan are Deceit’s secondary caregivers for times when Roman can’t be there

• Logan will read to Dee before he goes to sleep or help him find new documentaries on snakes to watch when he’s a little bit older. Roman allows Logan access to the imagination so he can take Deceit on adventures to museums and other fun places where he can be small, because no one in the imagination will judge

• Remus being the Chaotic Sibling he is means that Dee will get absolutely spoiled rotten. Lots of sugar! No bath time! No bed time! No rules! Because of How He Is Logan is normally there with him, but when it’s just Remus and Deceit it’s a PARTY and the other sides should beware

• Most of the time, at least one of the two are helping Roman out. Although all three of them being there to be with Deceit is much more rare, it’s a treat for everyone involved!

• Having all of them there is, admittedly, one of the best parts of regressing for Dee. If he finds out that the four of them will be having a sleepover, his eyes get all wide before he’s smiling and giggling like a madman. All of his best friends in one place?? Having a sleepover?? It’s so exciting !!!!

• Once everyone is together he HAS to be touching at least two of them at all times, it’s The Law. Lots of movie-watching and cuddling ensues! Everyone loves seeing Dee so happy, so they aim to have these nights as often as possible.

I don’t want to go into too much detail in case anyone has questions, but here’s more on Logan and Remus, Deceit’s other caregivers! (Psst— is you ask questions about them, it’ll be easier to play them and you’ll likely see them soon! wink)

- Dee and Roman have a bedtime routine for when Dee is small to make sure that he’s actually tired and prepared to go to bed, or else he’ll want to stay up all night

- (although in reality Dee is almost always a very sleepy snake but shh)

- This routine starts around eight or eight thirty after they’ve eaten, and the first thing they do is say goodnight to everybody!

- Roman will stand back and give a simple goodnight over Dee’s shoulder as he says a little “nigh nigh” and hugs Logan and Remus tight (this can go on for a VERY long time if no one pries him off. no hug will ever be long enough to satisfy the little one.)

- Next up is bath time. This is one of the few parts of his regression that Deceit consistently keeps between himself and his partner, which Remus and Logan are very understanding of.

- Dee hates bubbles, however there are tons of little toys, and the stories that Roman comes up with them are just as much a part of bath time as the washing itself

- After he’s dried off and (most likely) in his snake pjs, the duo will head to bed (usually in Dee’s room, where he’s more comfortable) and settle down to cuddle with Disney movies or Winnie the Pooh playing

- From there, the little snake usually drifts off easily with his paci and either Ro or a stuffie squished in his arms
