Ello dearests creators of this AU! With my Animaniacs and Ducktales17 hyperfixations at an all time high finding this AU feels like accidentally stumbling upon a gold mine! I have a few questions about this story, but as to annoy you guys too much, I'll go with just 3: How did the Goofs get roped into the farm business? Yall explained quite a bit about Panchito and how he pulled his lovers + duck triplets into the mix but not much about Goofy and his role into all this (and I'm assuming he has some influence in the story since he helps run the farm according to Panchito's description, and that he's the reason Max is here at all) Also, does Webby live in the farm? What's her deal in the story? Didn't see a mention of her in the layout of the house where you guys describe which room belongs to which person. Last and not least, yall cool with fanwork? Didn't see an answer to this one in the FAQ and I thought about 2 different fanfic ideas just skimming through this blog once! Just wondering... Anyway cool project going on over here, the art is absolutely gorgeous so kudos for that. I'm excited to see where this goes :>
Questions about this au never bother either of us! We love it dearly and talk about it so often on discord, and its so wonderful to see other people care about it like we do!!! So always ask questions! The Goofs are both here because of the family Goof Curse, which is why their luck is so comically bad in this au! When their own home gets destroyed yet again by a herd of tornadoes, one of the bigger ones picks them up and carries them all the way to the Warners Ranch. Goofy ends up teaching Yakko a his siblings a lot of practical skills like sewing and cooking and things of that nature! He's VERY important in this au, as he's a fun, but very kind and patient person who knows what kids are like. He's the first adult that's opened up to because of this (If I remember correctly, by Wakko), and the and it really helps the warners trust that they can depend on others again without feeling like they're replacing their parents. He's one of the few people allowed to tend to the family apple orchard (despite his bad luck) and is often the first adult to be talked to for problems. Webby doesn't live on the farm, she lives in the big city nearby where the warners go to sell product. She and her grandma are there, as well as scrooge (the mayor). Her family already knew or knew OF donald, his husbands, and the triplets, so she was DELIGHTED to have them somewhere she could hang out with sometimes, even if that just means helping with farm work. She's Dot's best friend. We would be DELIGHTED to have fanwork! We've had a couple people draw for this au and have gone crazy literally every time about it!! It would be WONDERFUL to see more! If they're fics, they won't be canon to the story (although we may ask, if its like OMG THATS PERFECT) but PLEASE DO share!!!! We'll want to put it on our blog too!! If people feel the want to create for this we'll totally add to the FAQ
