Re: the post about ginger characters replaced when poc actors, I read something about how when the original Annie came out, there was a lot of prejudice in the US towards immigrants from Ireland, and so they made her ginger to decrease prejudice and increase representation. For that reason is why they cast a poc to play her in the remake. Anyway I wonder if that is the motivation behind any of the other examples in that post.
