I dunno if you experience this too, but 50% of the time, maybe more, I’m actually uninterested. I care so much that I can’t relate to anyone that I tell myself I don’t care and it only encourages further disconnect? Even when I find characters in *fiction* that I relate to I feel anxiety because how can that be? And I go as far as thinking about the interactions I’d have irl with them, and conclude that those would *also* fall flat.
