PDA that’s a definite ‘no’?

          — there’s not really any definite no’s, honestly.

     in fact, this cowboy cares so little about his own self perception, his partner will probably end up having to rein him in a bit while in public, if that’s not really their thing. he likes to ensure his significant other is well aware of how much he enjoys being their partner, and he doesn’t particularly care where they are or who else is around to see it.

fair warning, this includes, but is not limited to:

playing / messing with your hair.

kisses. lots of kisses.

more kisses. but anywhere but your lips.

hand / waist holding.

hugging / hanging off your shoulders. especially when you’re not paying him enough attention.

and his personal favorite:

Jack: I need you to go through his stuff.

Gerard: Excuse me?

Jack: We need to know what the hell is going on.

Gerard: You do realize who you asking this on right?

Jack: Yes Gerard, and he wouldn’t see it coming.

Gerard: HE HAS A FUCKING NINJA ASSASIN AND A COWBOY FROM HELL, YOU THINK IT’S THAT FUCKING EASY?! HAVE YOU SEEN THEY SHIT THEY TRIED TO PULL AND FAILED?! HE THREATENED TO PUT ONE BACK IN JAIL NOT TO LONG AGO!

Jack: It’s fine Gerard, I got your back.

Gerard: That really doesn’t help you know.

Jack:...

“Get out.”

That was said even before Gérard could add the bit about changing his mind. Roland continued to type wildly on his keyboard, his head craned dangerously low, definitely too low to be good for his spine.

“Get out,” he repeated, with more conviction and an elevated pitch. 

“It’s just…I’m tired of thinking about everything I’ve lost…” The younger man responded with exhaustion in his voice, burying his face in his hands. “Seems like no matter what, life just keeps taking things from me.”

Although they were on different sides, it was an interesting experience to talk to Gérard. A moments peace from the conflict and the fighting. There were no shouts or sounds of gunfire around, just still silence that seemed to put the two at some ease with each other. It wasn’t long before they began to converse, and eventually the venting began.

“Everyone thinks I’m too young to have a lot of my mind, but I do.” He slowly looked up to the other.

“My missing parents, trying to prove myself to people. Am I weak? Do I have a place with my group? Am I really valuable? What’s going to happen when I eventually mess up?”

His voice began to shake now.

“What if they throw me away, like others have? I’ll be useless, so no point in keeping me around, right?”

He let his face rest back in his hands, voice quivering.

      Moira wasn't angry. No one ever believed that, but it didn't matter. She wasn't doing any of it for revenge; it was simply convenience. 

      Her experiments often tugged at her heartstrings; no one ever believed that, either. But, she did have morals. Harming innocent bunnies and rats and her fellow humans was a necessary sacrifice for science; it wasn't something she did for pleasure. So, when offered the decaying corpse of Gerard Lacroix, it was like Christmas morning. 

      She wasn't angry at him. She was simply… apathetic. She certainly wouldn't have put him out if he was on fire, which made her experiments so much easier to run. If something went wrong, if he was doomed to an eternity of horrible agony, well… she wasn't going to lose sleep over it.

      And so, it wasn't anger in her eyes as she looked over Gerard's form, days after a seemingly successful reanimation; it was excitement for what was to come next.
