I think the most shocking hobby he would have would be playing the guitar/singing. He doesn’t ever talk about his love for music to anybody, and he never shares the skill or sings in-front of people, but sometimes, just sometimes when he’s wandering the ‘Wealth with Sole, they’ll catch him humming to himself, or if they’re looting a cleared building Sole may be able to catch him singing softly from the other room.

If someone was to ask him specifically about the guitar or his singing, he’ll definitely get excited and jump on the chance to talk about his love for music. He won’t outright sing for whoever asked, and it’s hard as hell to find an in tact guitar for him to actually play, so he rarely shows off.

If someone found him a guitar/made him one? He would feel obligated to play it for them, and if they’re lucky and he gets Into the song enough, he’ll sing along.

Made some quick designs for Agent Deacon!

The first one is an AU. i haven't thought up of any funny name for this one (it's kind of hard to top something like "Hypno-potamas"). this Au is "what if" Hypno and Doug were never separated and became villains together!. Doug would have turned out very differently under Hypno's care. i might infodump about it some other time :,D

Everyone meet, Agent Deacon! the mutant hippo in training.

After his sudden mutation, Doug was taken into custody by the NYC government E.P.F (Earth. Protective. Force.). The E.P.F help Doug get used to his mutation and his newfound sentients before eventually deciding to put Doug into use.

Doug eventually became an Agent-in-training and surprisingly had a knack for it. He's obedient, alert, oddly stealthy and he knew how to improvise. Agent Deacon was the prime example of how a trainee should be.

however, the only thing that held him back, is his heart.

no- I dont mean in a touchy-feely metaphorical sense.

I mean in a very REAL sense

Before the Mutation, Doug had a pre-existing heart condition that he got active treatment for but nonetheless, still affected him. This heart condition didn't go away after the mutation and though he is determined to become a good agent. his heart can get in the way.

Hypno (aka ron) is not aware that Doug is alive and assumed he died when he couldn't find him.

Agent Deacon is aware of what happened to his old owner and the current crime-of-life he's in, HOWEVER! Agent Deacon is forbidden from going after him due to his personal involvement in the case.

Random fun facts about Agent Deacon

Agent bishop was the one to have taken Deacon into custody and also the one who proposed to the E.P.F to make Deacon an Agent.

Deacon will answer to most strangest of nicknames. like "dougie wougie", "baby boy baby" "chunky dumpling boo" and so..SO.. much more.

Deacon is allowed to roam freely in the hidden city, with or without supervision however, his current "home" is at E.P.F's headquarters. Most of his missions are handled their anyway... on the count that he is...you know.

Agent Deacon always has his medication with him. He needs to be prepared for the worst-case scenario. His heart can only handle so much until it starts acting up.

Watermelons are his FAVOURITE treat.
