Agent Catherine Alva is a chief of G.I.W (Group In White), one of Jack and Maddie's college-mates from Wisconsin. According to Harriet, Alva was majored in professional wrestling and other sports until the lab accident occurred with Vlad's hospitalization. Right after graduation, Alva was determined to capture all harmful ghosts and managed to surpass the Fentons in ghost-hunting expertise as G.I.W are working for the government. She is determined to capture the powerful ghost named "Plasmius".
She was first appeared to be seen brutally beating up Operative O and K for their undiplomatic tactics and their lack of concern for collateral damage that could have hurt innocent citizens. In another year of College Reunion, she was seen giving a stiff greeting to the Fentons while smiling to Vlad Masters and makes light praises of his youthful appearance. But little did she knew, Vlad was actually the very same powerful ghost she desired to capture. Aside from Vlad's ghost self, she became one of the factors that causes him to emotionally get distant from Jack and Maddie whenever he actually wanted to reconnect with them, unknowingly letting "Plasmius" gaslighting Vlad from time to time.
