#decvinylworship day 30 // album of the year: Vanum - Ageless Fire Honestly this year it has been extremely difficult to pick out a clear album of the year. However, 2 days ago I finally listened to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' Ghosteen and was instantly floored. I would pick that as my AOTY, but since I don't have that on vinyl yet I'll be going with Ageless Fire, which I can safely say would be in my top 3. Honestly, before this year I wasn't even that into black metal. But this album was the catalyst that lead me to discovering more and more black metal. The sheer intensity and brutal riffs on this album just keep me coming back again and again. And just look at that album art!
