Jaques was always fascinated with magic. He had been fascinated with magic for the longest time, mainly because he was very gifted at it when he was younger. His parents, however, didn't really like the idea of him pursuing magic, even trying to ban him from doing magic in the house.

Eventually, he gets caught by witch hunters (whom he still blames him parents for) and was imprisoned for about a few years before finally managing to escape by creating a snow golem by the name of "Frosty" and using him to get out. At this point he was only 14 years old and doing magic much more high level than most people his age.

As a result, however, he was kinda shunned by his fellow witches, mainly because he was so gifted. So most of his magic is self taught as far as things are concerned. He ended up eventually befriending Randy and he ended up developing some deep feelings for him, hoping that maybe Randy felt the same.

When Randy left his coven, he ended up traveling with him, coming across Reginald's manor and assisting him in every aspect of it, including making the mansion much bigger on the inside than it was on the outside so he had room to accommodate everyone who would come by.

But eventually he just... vanished on day. Just flat out disappeared. No one knows where he is or where he might have gone. There's some rumors that he might have sealed himself away for training purposes, other theorize that the witch hunters might have caught him for good.
