I’m tossing around names for this girl. She used to be Ivy, but I don’t need 2, so now she’s going to be someone else. My current front runners are Holly, Alice, and Claire, but I’d love to see any other suggestions.

I opened Paradise Doll Eye Hospital today, and my first patient was my Nellie. I wanted her to look more like the book, and had purchased some blue eyes from Doll of a Kind but never used them. I’m still not sure about them; they’re awfully light, though I will say they give her a one of a kind appearance.
What do you think? I pictured her next to Katie, who has the standard AG blue eyes for comparison.
It’s a Makeover Monday!
I’m finally feeling well enough to work on some customization projects I’ve had planned for the last couple of months. This is good, as I have several birthdays coming up that I had planned to give dolls for. These two, plus Gabriela as Dolores Madrigal from Encanto, are headed to my niece. She didn’t get a doll at Christmas, so she’s getting 3 for her birthday to make up for it.
Grace, on the left, had her freckles removed, as well as her very dated haircut. She is now sporting a Joss wig, and looks much better. I just couldn’t like her with her old wig and pinprick freckles. Or, for that matter, the custom freckles I put on her awhile back. She just doesn’t need them.
Nanea got new eyes and a wig. The eyes are now standard pinwheel brown, which I think makes her look less whitewashed, and her wig is black, curly and very long, much like Moana’s in the print of her dress.
This girl is back to being Joss, albeit with freckles and more teeth. She’s so cute!

Just a sneak peek of one of my projects this week. This former Samantha has so much hair now!
“New” girls. My MG mold dolls have new hair and eyes, and I’m working on names and backstories for them. And I might give the left one different hair. Right now she looks very Scandinavian, but I refuse to call her Elsa. Maybe Astrid. Suggestions are welcome, even if they aren’t Scandinavian. 😋
And do you think the redhead needs freckles? I can’t make up my mind. She’s beautiful as-is, but freckles would be cute, too.
Some of my current projects. The one in the middle was Beforever Rebecca, given freckles and a new wig. (I think they work really well with her pale complexion - she is more sun bleached than my other Rebecca.) The other two were Marie-Grace, and the one on the left keeps threatening to turn into Anne Shirley. I haven’t found the right look for the one on the right, yet. I ordered a couple of wigs to try out on her.
I’m still trying to come up with names and backstories for them. I’m pretty sure the one in the middle is Susan, but I don’t know what time period to put her in (1944? 1957? 1874? 1436? No idea.). I’m considering making MG on the left my Felicity dupe, but with a different name, but I’m not sure about that either. I’m hoping something will click for the one on the right when I find the right wig.
Anyone have suggestions for any or all of these 3?
