She knew she shouldn’t be out at this time of night. Not in this part of the city anyway. Every part of her body told her this was a stupid idea. But something crazy was going on. A string of robberies not even the police could figure out. She thought if she could somehow just get close enough to the latest target to hack into the security cameras that she could find some piece of evidence the law enforcement had overlooked. Sure she didn't have powers, and she had no idea who or what she could possibly be faced with, but some small part of her was saying it was her chance to be the hero. She didn’t need super strength or super speed, she just needed her brain because more than likely this criminal was stupid.
All these thoughts clawed at the back of her mind as sat in car around the back of the closed down coffee shop at two am finalizing the decryption to their security system when she heard a knock on her window. She looked up with a start but couldn’t see who the person was. Before she had time to even analyze the situation, the stranger’s hand had bust through her window and he was yanking her out of her car. She struggled hard against his body, but he would no doubt over power her. “HELP!” she yelled, trying with all her might to get free.
