Luna sat up in bed as she looked over at him. "Are you sneaking out?”

Luna was silent as she listened to everything that Cam was saying to her. Every shot he took at her, every cruel comment. No matter what he said her eyes remained on the infant sleeping next to her bed. She’d just started to reach for the call button when he grabbed her wrist and yanked her hand up and away from it. “Cam stop.” The redhead whimpered as he cleaned forward in his chair to be closer to her, but almost as soon as he did Everett was yanking him out of his seat. “Ev.” Luna sat up. “Just put him in the hall and get the nurse. Get him out of here.”

"Why do you just assume I’m pregnant? Maybe I’m just moody and throwing up a lot.” Cass huffed. “But yes. I’m pregnant.”

"I said no! He’s not welcome here I don’t care what he says. You had no right to call him and-”  Luna stopped as her breath caught and as the pain faded she started yelling at her mother again “Just go sit out there with him.” She pointed at the door and her anger only faded when she saw who stepped in front of it. “I haven’t killed anyone yet. Proud of me?”

She likes to fade into the background unless there’s a reason for her to be noticed. It’s from years of being the center of a battle between two families.
