Confrontations and loud voices always had a habit of drawing attention and Klara was grateful when she turned round to see the familiar face of Aeva filled with concern for what she had just witnessed. Explaining the whole situation, wasn’t going to be easy but she knew that Aeva was trusted among her family members so knew she could vent. “That was my delightful step-daughter,” she mused, taking a step towards the exit and gesturing her to follow.
