Something in the Way You Move

Training for the upcoming tour had been intense. Aether had gone above and beyond in helping to get his replacement ready.

Phantom was Aether’s opposite - tall and lanky, young and energetic in a way Aether only remembered from his past. He crinkles his violet eyes as he watches the new ghoul slide up to Dew during practice.

He laughs, calling “the crowd will love that.” And nods his approval, crossing his arms over his chest as he watches, proud. They have gone over everything sexual that is expected of him onstage and off. He knows he is ready, and is more than capable of taking care of himself. The kid is good, and they all know it.

Later; when they are alone, some quiet words spoken as they rehash practice, sitting in Aether’s room, Phantom on the bed, Aether in a chair he pulled up, they practice using their magick together. Palms out, fingers nearly touching. The energy flowing between them swirling in the air, a haze of quintessence heavy in the room.

Phantoms leans in, the tiniest bit and unexpectedly presses his fingertips to Aether’s and the other’s eyes pop wide, pupils blowing wide and black as his breath hitches, the sudden jolt of Phantom’s power catching him off guard with the ferocity in which it courses through him, finding the thing he wants most, and pressing right into it with precision. Phantom grins at him, fangs sharp and glinting in the light, like the predator he is. Lavender eyes laser focused on his prey.

Phantom stands, still touching Aether, but sliding his hands up to his shoulder, his claws light as he pulls Aether forward, out of the chair and down to his knees on the floor in front of him, pliable and sweet.

Ready.

He looks down on Aether, a hand loosely carded through his hair, as his claws scratch along his scalp, soothing.

Aether’s tongue pokes out as he licks at his lips, suddenly bone dry, like his tongue. Unable to speak, Phantom bends at the waist, pressing a kiss to Aether’s lips, licking into his mouth as his black eyes sparkle down at him, before he pulls away, leaving Aether heaving, his hands on Phantom’s hips, wanting, but frozen, waiting for his next instructions.

It works! And I think the scale is good too! The color is definitely a work in progress but that's the easy part now... The funny color is due to me trying out coating the mold with atomized bronze powder to see if it'd look like bronze. Which, not really but I have somewhere to go from now!

Too bad I don't have the proper boots to showcase them on... Yet.
