This one was relatively simple but fun to make :))

summary: the twins weren't exactly fit to stay in one world for too long because their body is entire different and it fells apart over the years...when they both got stuck in teyvat, lumine always knew that her body would break at some point

ideas and scenes:

lumine is strong, very strong to be able to keep up with her weekly schedule despite in all honesty, her body's breaking apart

the idea is that the twins are powerful but they're physically weak, like they have so much power but if checked by a doctor, they'll be diagnosed as very weak

it's keeping everything in them to be like a normal person when really, they're not

in this au, their species are genderfluids but they have identified genders of their own choice and they are "stars" beings born and raised by the constellations and galaxy

aether, as the abyss prince, and the twin who fell hundreds of years ago, actually has pushed himself to the limits and is fading away but being in abyss (where time is distorted) helps

dainsleif had found out about his body's condition and tried to help but really, going to the abyss is aether's only option

no one really notices at first how weak lumine's body is but after bonding and interacting with her so many times, they notice it

the first to notice is venti, when his gnosis was stolen because while barbara tried to heal lumine, it didn't work and her body showed signs of breaking

technically, lumine was able to hide her sickness because she used illusions, a power that stars like her and aether have

after the reveal, lumine protection squad was born

everyone in mondstadt got overprotective of their honorary knight and offered assistance whenever possible

some characters even joined her to travel liyue because of it

I love love love aether. He is literally the reason I started to play the game. He is so pretty and his clothes are just 😩💞. Anyways this post lowkey kinda wack cause its kinda in a rush?? I also think the golden hour didn't take an effect on the photos but whatever. Fortunately I get to post this now to rush the diluc b-day spread for friday hehe.
