Ghaterieu's polycule relationship chart + family tree. It's a lot sfdjsbjdfbjdsf

I know I could have done this in less images but like, I wanted to make it easy to see. And also there's no way I could format this in the usual family tree way. Dude had a lot of kids with a lot of people.

There's a lot of characters I haven't even introduced yet, but that have existed for a while (like, since 2020) and some are brand new, and it was a fun opportunity to color them fully, even if just their heads

Aestry again, and this time I'll actually talk about her

She's Ariest and Hirian's daughter, and the three had a good life together, up to when she was 7, when Hirian died in a rockslide in his own temple. And about a year later, Ariest dissapeared after a bad fight with Ghaterieu, leaving her alone. So Theri raised her as his own daughter, both being extremely sure Ariest abandoned them to become mortal. On the present day, she is a very serious and isolated person, staying mostly on her temple (which used to be Hirian's)

Stuff does get a bit emotionally messy when Ariest returns, after all these millenia of being sure she was abandoned and that Ari didn't care for her at all, when that wasn't the case at all, it's quite the hit to the heart

She did end up inheriting Hirian's domain, so she's the new goddess of precious stones and curiosity, and with that came rocks sprouting from her hair like his used to, based on her emotions. And she still wears his shawl and one of his bracelets (the other one is with Ariest)

Her domain is precious stones/minerals and curiosity. And her hair ends up creating amethysts, as her color scheme was based on one :3

His daughter's name is Aestry and she was born before he was cursed into a slumber, and she's also immortal, like him, having a connection with precious stones and minerals

And very early in her life...they lost her other father, and neither of them dealt well with that
