What are Shirexia's thoughts on Vaelrin now? When I last asked this question it was months ago. Has anything changed?
As strange as she might show it, her opinion of Vaelrin has only improved. She understands he isn't experienced in leading a unit as much as a ship, but most seem to do the right thing anyway so any shortcomings of the Pathfinders haven't yet reflected upon him negatively.
Both of them take their duty seriously, and he's available should she feel the need to express concern. He also upheld his end of the deal to return her sword after their duel, so that's a bonus.
At times they disagree but both of their abilities to be open and honest about them is a better scenario than going along with something they're not 100% invested in.
What are Azriah's plans for Draenor and such?
When the Sunguard mobilizes for it, she's going to send a bunch of supplies with them, and remain behind on Azeroth for a time. She needs to work with the Duskwither Estate for a time and delegate authority in a manner beneficial to her.
She also has a nine month old baby. She's not exactly bursting at the brim to go run away from her. If she goes to Draenor at all IC (I will be leveling her regardless), it won't be until after Aeriana's first birthday and solid transportation between the region and her home has been established.

How is Shirexia handling the change?
It's a natural position for her to be in - she respects and obeys the chain of command, certainly, but her personality is very authoritative which is a boon in this situation. There is some stress involved, though the isn't a new concept for her to deal with. She does have some concerns, though. While she expects the Pathfinders to abide by what she says, she isn't fully certain if she has the attention of everyone. People might just defer to Vaelrin anyway, try and talk with him as if to gain his opinion on things - which she cannot control but it's something she's considered. Or that the next two weeks will be handled as a vacation as opposed to a legitimate replacement being a thing.
BUT overall Shirexia thinks she's fit for the position and will do all she can to maintain stability.

Look what I found. MY OLD STYLE! Seriously, I used to draw like this all the time but then... stopped, or the style changed, I dunno. OR MAYBE I'M JUST VERSATILE? VERSA-STYLE? Cursed with inconsistency?
This is a sketch from yesterday's RP with aestiah's Vaelrin and Deyaenus. It was very intense and dat character development!
do that impression thingy for vaelrin
Deyaenus: “Vaelrin is living a fantasy. It also happens to be everyone else’s fantasy as well, and I think that’s what attracts people to him despite that he’s dangerous and no good. It’s role that everyone has imagined themselves as at least once in their lfe; that feeling of irresponsibility and adventure - but no one really makes the jump. Few do. It has to be a situation that’s out of your control to find yourself socially marginalized like Vaelrin is. That’s why people keep him around, he’s a fantasy they can look at and imagine themselves to be, but once it’s time to return to their law-abiding, morally sound lives they just go home and leave him behind. He’ll always end up alone.”
